Halloween Ghost Cream Cheese Keto Brownies

Put a spooky twist on your keto brownies by piping on cream cheese ghosts!


For the Brownies
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cups xylitol
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
For the Cream Cheese Ghosts
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons confectioner erythritol (I use Swerve brand)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon almond milk


For the Brownies
  1. Heat oven to 350 and line 8 x 11 casserole dish with parchment paper. Put, butter, cocoa powder, salt and xylitol in microwave safe bowl. Microwave for one minute. Mix. Once slightly cool, stir in eggs and vanilla extract. Next, stir in flour. Pour mixture into dish and bake for about 16-20 minutes. Halfway through baking time, remove brownies from oven and pipe on ghosts. Put back in oven and finish cooking. This will ensure ghosts turn discolored.
For the Cream Cheese Ghosts
  1. Mix cream cheese, confectioner erythritol, and extract in small bowl until smooth. Slowly add in milk, stirring along the way, and stop adding milk until you get the right piping consistency. Add a little more or less if necessary.
  2. Put into sandwich bag and snip tiny corner off of end. Pipe your ghosts!
