Keto Baked Cinnamon Doughnuts

These doughnuts are deliciously light and fluffy. The butter and cinnamon sugar coating gives them a lovely crunchy texture.


For the Doughnuts
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup packed Sukrin Gold (a brown sugar substitute)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
For the Sugar Coating
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granular erythritol


For the Doughnuts
  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, xanthan gum, salt, and cinnamon in medium bowl. Whisk together Sukrin Gold, egg, sour cream, and almond milk together in small bowl. Pour in melted butter and vanilla extract and mix to combine. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until incorporated.
  3. Grease doughnut tins well. Scoop batter into piping bag or plastic sandwich bag. Cut tip off of corner and pipe batter into wells until they are about 2/3 of the way full, but no more. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
For the Sugar Coating
  1. Melt butter in small bowl. In another bowl, mix cinnamon and sweetener.
  2. Roll doughnuts in melted butter and then coat in sugar mix. Place on wire rack to cool. Enjoy!
