Moroccan Kefta Kabobs

ingredients:

For the Skewers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 2 grated onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped mint
  • 4 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
For the Moroccan Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

instructions:

For the Skewers
  1. Soak your skewers in water for at least 20 minutes. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Heat grill to medium high.
  2. Form meat mixture around skewers and place on grill. Grill for 20 minutes or until cooked, rotating along the way.
For the Moroccan Creamy Sauce
  1. Mix all ingredients in bowl.
